Itinerary

North Shore

• 25 min 1.6 km (1 mile) coastal walk and morning tea.

• Drive across the Auckland Harbour Bridge

Auckland Domain

• Drive through the viaduct, Auckland University, up through Historic Parnell to the Auckland Museum. Photo stop

Mt Eden (Maungawhau)

• 25 min 1.2 km (0.7 mile) hill walk to the summit for the best view of the Waitemata Harbour and Auckland’s central business district.

One Tree Hill (Maungakiekie)

• 25 min 1.5 km (0.9 mile) hill walk to the summit for the best view of the Manukau Harbour and suburban Auckland and lunch.

Historic Mangere Bridge

• 30 min 2.2 km (1.4 mile) coastal walk over the Southwestern motorway and then over the historic Mangere Bridge crossing the upper reaches of the Manukau Harbour completing our Coast-to-Coast crossing.
